The festive atmosphere was present for this second day of the CJSOI Carnival! The streets of Triolet were packed with different groups, dancing, singing, and showing their best performance which made the show lively!
And for the best costumes competition, three winners were rewarded:
- First Prize: DAV Morcellement Saint Andre (Rs50,000)
- Second Prize: DLD Teen Hope (Rs30,000)
- Third Prize: College Ideal (Rs20,000)
The Youth Carnival as a prelude to the CJSOI games to be held from 4 to 11 December. The aim of the Carnival was to sensitise the Mauritian population on the CJSOI Games which will be held in Mauritius from 04 to 11 December 2022. Minister Toussaint encouraged all the youths and the Mauritian population to participate and to show their full support to the Mauritian athletes during the Games.
The third CJSOI Carnival at Helvetia will be on 7 September.
