The year 2022 was just as rich in terms of music. And like every year a question arises: which song will be crowned Record of the Year 2022 in its respective category? Here are our predictions.
The local category has some new blood this year. Indeed, several new artists have entered the musical arena to taste success immediately. This is the case for Denzel with his track Allé, Dj Egilen Faya feat Donovan Bts and Yohan for Ti Mamzel or Ryan Trapu with Tass dan latet. Palawan of We Vibin’ Prod also has a card to play as well as Laura Beg with her song Enn lot kuma mwa. However, the big favorite this year in our opinion is Yansley and the group Sega nou ancet with its hit Sakouy li amor.
In the European category, the game will be played between Rema’s Calm down, Ckay’s Emiliana or Ozuna’s Arhdo and Gims – a song currently propelled by the World Cup. Calm down starts however with a clear advantage.
In the Bollywood direction, Kesariya from the movie Brahmastra is on the first step of the podium. The global hit Manike will certainly compete for the 2nd or 3rd place with the song Mere dil gaaye from the film Dhoka.
