The seduction campaign continues. While the MSM is taking advantage of the parliamentary recess to hold almost daily conventions, the Leader of the Reds, Dr Navin Ramgoolam is issuing a general invitation to the general public to attend the next Political Bureau on 28 August 2022 at the annual convention where the new Executive Committee will be elected and which in turn will elect a new Political Bureau.
“Since 2020, the Labour Party, the oldest party in Mauritius, has been working towards renewal and restructuring. I had called this transformation Gen-Next, which symbolised the great citizens’ march that brought together more than 150,000 people in the streets against the incompetence of the MSM government,” said Dr Ramgoolam. He denounced the drift on all levels including economic, social and political. The leader of the Reds made it clear that the country needs new blood and new patriots at the head of the country. He said that the country needs new blood and new patriots to lead the country. “Since charity begins at home, we are going to put forward a good mix of fresh faces and experienced people to form a new generation of politicians to create a Mauritius without Nepotism, Corruption and Fraud but where Meritocracy and Transparency will prevail”. He calls for a “historic meeting”.
