Government Chief Whip Kavi Doolub, Trade Minister Dorine Chukowry and PPS Sandra Mayotte held a press briefing yesterday afternoon to clarify some points related to the Private Notice Question of Tuesday.
Sandra Mayotte affirmed being ” surprised by the heavy rains… Building drains is not a 100% reliable solution to this new phenomenon…”.
The PPS for Constituency No. 2 said that after the meeting between the concerned families and the Prime Minister, efforts were initiated to relocate the three families.
PPS Sandra Mayotte added, however, that she still hasn’t heard any further news concerning the relocation of three families in Tranquebar on the matter but hopes to have it all finalised by this afternoon ( ie yesterday afternoon).
