In its quest to further enhance the level of service for its customers and the general public, SBM Bank (Mauritius) Ltd is pursuing its strategy of modernising its branches across the country. On Wednesday 1 September 2021, the Bank inaugurated a new branch at La Paix Square, at the corner of SSR (formerly Rue Desforges) and La Paix, in Port Louis. The branch, which previously operated at Gaddafi Square in Plaine-Verte, is moving into these new premises, which feature new technologies as well as comfort and user-friendliness for customers and visitors.

The new branch on SSR Street is a testimony to this commitment and allows us to offer a business space that reflects the service excellence that has characterised us for almost half a century,” said Mr. Anoop Nilamber, Chief Executive of SBM Bank (Mauritius) Ltd.
In parallel with the opening of this new branch, SBM Bank is continuing its branch renovation exercise during the month of September. In the long run, the Bank intends to offer in each of its branches an easily recognisable space, not only visually, but also in terms of the quality of services and facilities offered to customers and the public.
The new branch on SSR Street will operate at the usual times, i.e. from 9 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
