The former Managing Director of Mauvilac Industries will be taking the helm of the chemical company on October 15, 2021.
A French national, Laurent Roussel holds an MBA from ESCP Business School, as well as an Advance Management Program certificate from Harvard Business School.
Laurent has worked in several sectors, mainly in Europe and in the coating and pharmaceutical industries. In 2017, he moved to Mauritius to take over the reins of the Mauvilac Industries group and to implement a new strategy focused on color preparation know-how. There he also successfully coordinated the sale and integration of the company into the multinational AkzoNobel in 2020.
After a six-month mission in La Trobe, Laurent Roussel joins the Harel Mallac group as head of Archemics with the triple objective of developing sales with the introduction of new natural product ranges, digitizing its activities and thus creating quick access to all products and advice, and developing new production capacities to meet the growing needs of the markets.
