Actor Thomas Haden Church Hints At Spider-Man 4 With Tobey Maguire

According to actor Thomas Haden Church from Spiderman franchise, Spider-Man 4 will soon be coming. As per reports, the film will be directed by Sam Raimi which will star the original Spiderman, Tobey Maguire. The news of the movie is already garnering lots of following and creating excitement.

The Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi came to an end in 2007. In the same year, Raimi debuted Thomas Haden Church as the Sandman, the new antagonist in Spider-Man 3. Though a fourth installment was anticipated, the project was shelved. The franchise has now undergone two reboots without any results. When all three of the live-action Peter Parker cast members came together for the 2019 crossover movie Spider-Man: Far From Home—which also had Church in a cameo as the Sandman—hope was restored. There are now reports that Sam Raimi is thinking about making a comeback.

In Sam Raimi’s 2007 Spider-Man 3, Thomas Haden Church made an appearance as Flint Marko, also known as Sandman. In an interview with ComicBook.com, website for entertainment news, Church said he has heard speculations about a possible Spider-Man 4 and that he would like to play the character again. “Sandman, there have been rumors that I might be asked to do another Spider-Man, and I would do it tomorrow,” he remarked.

Based on viewership data from Netflix users, a study conducted in December of last year revealed that Tobey’s Peter Parker was the most well-liked character among the audience. 59.5 million hours were spent watching his films, 48.9 million hours on Tom Holland’s films, and 36.2 million hours on Andrew Garfield’s films.
