Israel’s Overnight Attack Kills At Least 13 People In Rafah

Must Read

An Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Rafah has resulted in the deaths of at least six Palestinians, raising the death toll from the city’s overnight attacks to thirteen.

The Madi family’s east of Rafah residence was the target of the most recent attack. A number of injured individuals were sent to the adjacent al-Najjar Hospital.

In an earlier Israeli strike on a home in the Khirbet al-Adas neighborhood of Rafah, at least seven people were killed. Hand searches have been conducted by rescuers in the region to look for survivors and retrieve dead among the wreckage. The dead included women and children. Israeli forces entered the city of Nablus and destroyed the apartment of Palestinian man Moaz Al-Masry, who was slain by the Israeli military in last May.

Mustafa Abu Shalbak, 16, was shot and murdered by Israeli soldiers during a raid on the Am’ari refugee camp in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, the Health Ministry announced on Monday. Live rounds were fired by Israeli soldiers during skirmishes with Palestinian protesters over the raid. After receiving shots to the neck and chest, Abu Shalbak was taken to the Palestine Medical Complex, where it was declared that he had passed away.

Israeli occupation forces set up shop at the camp’s main entrance a few hours after the raid, according to witnesses.

Meanwhile, Israel has made the decision not to send a delegation to Cairo to negotiate the release of hostages from Gaza and a truce.
