Must Read

Members of Britain’s royalty took to Twitter to commemorates Father’s Day on June 19.

The heir to the throne Prince Charles and his wife – Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla posted three images yesterday with the caption: “Wishing everyone a very happy Father’s Day!” The couple were married in 2005.

Charles posted a photo with his late father Prince Philip who passed away last year. He also posted a picture of him and wife Camilla with her father Major Bruce Shand at Charles’ wedding.

Charles, Prince of Wales, is the heir apparent to the British throne. He is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He has been heir apparent as well as Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952. Incidentally, he is both the oldest and the longest-serving heir apparent in England’s history.

Queen Elizabeth who is the Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms also delved into the Royal Family archives and found a sweet snap of herself aged 20 with her father, King George VI. Queen Elizabeth was born in Mayfair, London, as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York.

She is the second-longest reigning monarch in history and has ruled the United Kingdom for more than 70 years. Her tenure as a monarch and head of state is second only to France’s King Louis XIV.

Finally, Prince William, who just turned 40, looked like a lion king with his three little cubs roaring around him in his photograph, taken in Jordan last year.

Prince William has been married to Kate Middleton aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge for the past eleven years and is father to three lovely children. The eldest -Prince George was born in 2013. Princess Charlotte arrived in 2015 and Prince Louie was born in 2018.
