Two individuals assaulted two brothers who were traveling in a car early Sunday evening, May 14, in Trou d’Eau Douce. This after the car in which they were traveling collided with the car in which the two brothers were traveling. They robbed the two victims of two gold chains, two speaker boxes, a camera, a wallet containing bank cards, a driver’s license and the sum of Rs 3000. The whole is estimated at Rs 200 000.
It was in the early hours of Monday May 15 that a report of theft was made at the police station of Bel Air Rivière Sèche. A 26 year old businessman living in this locality related the misadventure that his brother and have experienced around 18 hours 50 on Sunday, May 14. He was driving his Mitsubishi car from Bel Air Rivière Sèche towards Trou d’Eau Douche. Arriving at the height of Pont Lachaine, Trou d’Eau Douche, a car of the brand Toyota of gray color went in his direction. He said he immediately applied the brakes to avoid a collision. Nevertheless, his car crashed into the side of the Toyota. The driver got out and fled the scene.
The two occupants of the vehicle ran towards him and his brother and began assaulting them. He said he also called the police station in Trou d’Eau Douce.
