Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth has proceeded to inauguration ceremony of the new Mediclinic in Bel Air on Friday.

The Prime Minister emphasised the decentralisation of health care in his speech, highlighting the accessibility of medical infrastructures and the fact that every residence is less than three kilometres from a health facility. “This close proximity, which encompasses an extensive array of services, is demonstrating efficacy in mitigating the strain on local hospitals,” he declared.

Recalling the new establishment, which qualifies as a “mini-hospital,” Pravind Jugnauth mentioned the significant investment of Rs 90 million that was made in it. He recalled the substantial financial envelope of Rs. 2,6 billion allocated for the refurbishment of the Flacq Hospital.

New Mediclinic In Bel Air inaugurated

The head government further stated that the increased availability of the new Clinic enables effective management of minor ailments before they worsen, improving the quality of life for the local population. “Now, among other services, mental health and dermatological care will be provided in these health centres that will see other specialists in medicine,” continued Pravind Jugnauth.

“The government works hard, but it doesn’t share its accomplishments enough.” These are Pravind Jugnauth’s suggestions, on Friday in the late afternoon in Bel-Air/Rivière-Sèche. It happened during the opening of a local clinic.

Pravind Jugnauth and Vikram Hurdoyal shook hands and chatted this Friday in Bel Air. Clearly, the former minister remained on good terms with the MSM leader.
