After Mo anvi l’amour released in March 2022, Yoni Sauterelle returns with a new single entitled Toi. The song is an ode to his late girlfriend.
He never forgot her. That’s why Yoni Grasshopper wanted to pay tribute to her: “Mary Jane Joanne Choyen and I were in a relationship for 4 years before a car accident took her away from life in 2009, when we were about to get married. I went through a big downer before I was able to get back on track in 2014. You is a song that tells the good times we had together,” explains the artist.
Through this track, Yoni wanted to salute the courage of those who have lost a loved one: “It is not easy to lose someone you loved. But, at some point you have to know how to mourn and continue to live”.
The song will soon be broadcast on local radios and web radios of the diaspora.
The artist intends to shoot a video to accompany his latest single.
