No to violence against women, this 15-year-old schoolboy wanted to make it clear to another youngster, while he was slapping a 15-year-old girl at the Plaine-Verte garden in the late afternoon of Wednesday, July 13. The alleged aggressor did not want to hear the teenager and started to argue with him saying, “kot to problem trouve ladan. The latter was joined by his friends, one of whom placed a penknife to his throat. During this argument, his cell phone, which was placed on a bench, was stolen. This one is worth Rs 21 000.

It is in the presence of his mother that this teenager gave his statement at the police station of Plaine-Verte in the evening of Wednesday July 13. In great detail, he recounted the circumstances in which his Samsung cell phone, which he had received as a gift from his uncle, was stolen.

It all started at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13. He was sitting on a bench in the garden of Plaine-Verte near the medical office with his cell phone in his hand. A teenage girl came and sat on the same bench. A quarter of an hour later, a young person, whose first name he knows, arrived and gave a slap to this teenager. He said he questioned her about her act, to which he was copiously insulted. This youth then took his cell phone and put it on the bench before saying, “kot to problem trouve ladan… ek si to pou laguer oussi mo lekip pou rant ladan”.

Without warning, his opponent punched him in the right eye and kicked him in the right knee. At the same time, another youth placed a knife under his neck. Six other youths were present. He said he could identify them. After they left, he was to find his phone missing.
