S.O.L, the first album of Olivier Sirop, will be released on August 7th. Produced by Kenny Leonore, the opus offers an anthology of styles.
We know him as a humorist. But Olivier has been singing for a long time, long before his career with the Komiko troupe: “I have always loved music. I was doing it long before I got on stage to do comedy.
With this passion for singing, Olivier has released two singles: “It was the title ‘Laisse lamour vive’ released in 2017 that revealed me to the general public as a singer, so to speak. Then in February of this year, I also released ‘Deroulement lamour’ with the collaboration of Kenny Leonore.
It is precisely the latter who gave the artist the chance to make music professionally: “After Laisse lamour vive, people encouraged me a lot to release an album. It was also my dream, except that it was not feasible because of lack of funds. Without knowing it, two friends had a word with producer Kenny Leonore who called me one day to go ahead with the project.
Olivier was inspired by everyday life to compose the 8 tracks: “S.O.L – Save Our Love is certainly an ode to love, but not only. The album will also evoke other realities. The album will also evoke other realities, all set to different styles ranging from sega to reggae and zouk.
For his first album, Olivier also plays the card of innovation: “The opus will be available on CD, but also on USB key to follow the evolution of technology.”
