Prince Harry & Wife Meghan Invited To King Charles’ Coronation, Will They Attend?

Must Read

Prince Harry of Britain and his wife Meghan have been invited to witness the coronation of his father King Charles, a spokesperson for Harry said on Sunday. Harry stepped down from his royal responsibilities in 2020, and following his recent public and scathing criticism of his family, there was speculation as to whether the couple would be invited to the coronation and, if so, whether they would attend.

According to the couple, they have received an email about the coronation, which is scheduled for May 6. However,  they have not yet made a public announcement about it. It is believed that some potential attendees are being asked to save the date before receiving formal invitations, which will be sent later.

The couple’s damning disclosures about the King, Prince William, and other royals in his most recent memoir, a Netflix documentary, and a series of TV interviews have overshadowed the event’s planning.

Harry’s spokesperson said, “I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”

The crowning will be held at Westminster Abbey, which can accommodate about 2,200 people. Along with the King’s family and friends, numerous public figures, politicians, and leaders from around the world are anticipated to attend the event.
