Joe Biden’s Son Charged With Tax Evasion On Multiple Counts

Must Read

The second time this year that President Joe Biden’s troubled son has been charged by a special counsel looking into his personal and business dealings, Hunter Biden was indicted late on Thursday on multiple counts of tax evasion.

The 56-page indictment filed in US district court in California states that Hunter Biden “engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019,” according to special counsel David Weiss.

According to the indictment, Biden was accused of nine counts of tax evasion, filing false tax returns, and failing to file and pay taxes.

As Joe Biden fights for re-election and repels a Republican attempt to impeach him on the grounds that he benefited from his son’s international business dealings, the new charges further compound his embarrassment.

According to the earlier accusations, the younger Biden lied on a federal application about using drugs at the time he bought a gun.

Given the new allegations, Hunter Biden may go on trial twice in 2024 as senior Biden most likely faces Donald Trump in the presidential contest.

According to the most recent indictment, Hunter Biden made over $7 million between 2016 and 2020 and lived a carefree lifestyle.
