Following the new sanitary measures in force since this Friday, November 12, 2021, the Mauritius Handball Association has issued a communiqué today to announce the temporary stop of the championship.
Thus, the championship will resume in the days following the announcement of new measures allowing the holding of sports competitions.
In case the championship does not end this year, the matches will resume from January 15, 2022.
Currently in the men’s table it is Curepipe Starlight SC that is in first position with seven (7) points. Behind the Curepipians there is a group of four teams with six (6) points each: AS Vacoas-Phoenix, Union Sportive de Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill, Curepipe Rangers and Blackshield.
In the girls’ category, Curepipe Rangers, which has won three times in as many games, has nine points. Union Sportive de Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill and Plaisance SC complete the podium with three points.
