Fête de la Musique will be celebrated worldwide on June 21. In Mauritius, several celebrations are planned. Le Matinal Media has put together an agenda to celebrate music in style.

François Mitterrand Conservatory
The Conservatoire François Mitterrand, in collaboration with the Centre Nelson Mandela, will be holding a music exhibition and demonstrations at its headquarters from June 21 to 23, from 9.30 am to 4 pm. Admission is free by reservation only. You’ll need to call 4241012 for the visit. A day of activities is also planned for June 25, again at the conservatory’s Quatre-Bornes headquarters. From 10:30 a.m. to noon, the podium will be open to all artists wishing to perform. You’ll need to reserve your time by calling 4241012. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the public will be treated to demonstrations of djing, karaoke, muzipoly and musical bingo, among others. The All Women Ensemble concert kicks off at 2pm. The event will feature female musicians and singers from the conservatory. The day ends with Le grand concert at 3:00 pm. The artists will take to the stage in succession, offering different styles of music to the audience.
Telfair Amphitheatre – June 21
On June 21, the center of the country also gets into the swing of things at the Telfair amphitheater, this time from 5pm to 9pm. On stage will be Hans Nayna, Sayaa, Ravann Koze, KvSisters and band.
IFM – June 21
La Isla social club and its unmissable Dreamers event also invites itself to the Fête de la Musique on Wednesday June 21, from 5pm to 11pm at the Institut Français de Maurice (IFM) in Rose Hill. Here’s the program: Live stage – 6:00 pm Sami Lee + Numanity, 7:25 pm & 8:25 pm Lafleur Malade, 7:30 pm Caroline Villain + Patrice Larose, 9:30 pm Shanny Ramsamy. Grand-Baie La Croisette – June 24
Music will be good at La Croisette, where Mr Love and Madii Madii invite you on Saturday June 24 at 7.30pm on the esplanade of the shopping mall.
N’Joy – June 25
Let’s stay in Grand-Baie. This time, we’re heading for the N’Joy restaurant on Sunday, June 25, from noon to 11:45pm. Artists such as Sayaa (acoustic session), Hans Nayna (acoustic session), Nathaniel Letandri, Ludmilla and Jérôme Wong, Zulu and Blakkayo have confirmed their participation in the event.
