The first edition of the Lamisik Festival will be held on November 6th at the Domaine Labourdonnais. Artists such as Blakkayo, The Prophecy, Jason Heerah & Otentik Groove, Sky to be, Justice Lecoq, Bigg Franki among others will perform on stage from 6pm to 3am.
With the lifting of some health restrictions, it will soon be possible to hold the events with more people. Scheduled for November 6, the Lamizik Festival is an appointment that music lovers will certainly not miss.
Villassen Sungalee, who has been working in the event industry for two years, underlines the importance of this concert: “It was urgent to allow Mauritians to appreciate music again. Moreover, it is also a good opportunity to support local artists who have suffered a lot during the pandemic.
But the concept of the festival goes even further according to Villassen: “We also wanted to promote the Mauritian know-how during the event. The public will be able to discover handicrafts and typical Mauritian dishes.
Tickets are on sale in advance at Rs 500 at Otayo. They will be available at Rs 800 on the day of the concert. Admission is free for children under 12 years old. It is also possible to reserve a VIP table by calling the following number: 5254 0052.
