Dispute Between MTM And Nando Bodha’s Party Over A Symbol

The political bureau of the Muvman Travayis Militan (MTM) met urgently this Monday, July 26, 2021, at its Headquarters, located at Rue St Denis, Port Louis, to react to the news that fell during the last weekend announcing the creation of a new political party, the Mauritian Rally (RM) having as a symbol: Flambeau. He tells us that this symbol has been the symbol of the MTM since its creation in November 2014 and has been used at every election, local or national. In November 2019, however, the MTM had opted not to run in the national elections but to support the Morisian Alliance. The MTM calls on the new leaders of the new party (R.M) to get their act together and publicly retract their decision. Otherwise, the MTM will have to consider appropriate measures.  The statement is signed by Mr. Nundkeswarsing Bossoondyal, Secretary General of the MTM.
