David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc – the six stars of the popular tv show, FRIENDS, came together after 17 long years to do a special show called, Friends: Reunion or “The One Where They Get Back Together”. After delayed filming due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the special episode was finally aired by HBO Max on May 27, 2021. As part of the episode, the main cast members revisit the old sets such as the apartment and the famous coffee shop, enact older episodes, do table-reads and even meet with older guests who appeared in the original show.
Hosted by James Corden, the special episode also saw celebrity guest appearances by David Beckham, Cindy Crawford, BTS, Justin Bieber, Cara Delevingne, Kit Harrington, Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Malala Yousafzai and others.
After the show, Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram to share some of behind-the scenes pictures from the show.
Later, David Schwimmer, shared some never-before-seen footage of all the main cast members meeting on zoom, photoshoot and cast huddle.
