Must Read

A potential deterioration in weather conditions over the next few days, particularly on Thursday February 22 and Friday February 23, could have an impact on Air Mauritius operations due to the approach of a tropical depression, according to weather forecasts. For this reason, Air Mauritius is allowing passengers to change their travel dates free of charge until March 31.

The press release of Air Mauritius

Following the weather forecast for the approach of a tropical depression, a possible deterioration of the weather could affect Air Mauritius operations in the coming days, particularly on Thursday February 22 and Friday February 23, 2024.

Consequently, if you wish to change your travel date from today, Air Mauritius offers a no-fee change for travel until March 31, 2024.

Active communication with passengers

In order to ensure regular and effective communication, we are urgently appealing to our passengers to ensure that their contact numbers (cell phone numbers) are included in bookings through our travel agency partners.

In the event of flight delays, rescheduling or cancellations

A dedicated page on our airmauritius.com website provides access to updates on flights affected by bad weather. This page enables passengers to manage their itineraries remotely, so as not to congest our call center.

Passengers are asked not to arrive at the airport if they have not been informed in advance of the status of their reservations, so as not to overload operations.

In all cases, it is advisable to check the following points before arriving at the airport:

  1. Flight information and booking status, available at https://www.airmauritius.com/fr/gestion/reservations
  2. Regular information updates will be made available on https://www.airmauritius.com/fr/actualites and on Air Mauritius’ official social networking platforms.
