Neshen Teeroovengadum is back. And once again, it is not empty-handed, since he graces us with a 2nd album. Entitled Bann ti zistwar. The opus is the first volume of two other albums whose objective is to honor local music.
After a first album released in 2009, and a single in 2015, the guitarist and composer Neshen Teeroovengadum is once again making news. With his guitar and lyrics, the artist has just released Bann ti ziswar. “It is an album of 5 tracks inspired by local music sprinkled with notes of jazz since it is a music I like. Two of the five tracks are accompanied by vocals. While the other three are instrumental pieces.
On the project side, the artist plans two other albums that will follow Bann ti zistwar: “The goal is to build a musical project around Mauritian music. If I succeed, it will be a nice tribute to local music,” explains the artist.
