She is only 14 years old, this teenager was in a nightclub on Saturday night, December 17. Early Sunday morning of December 18, she woke up in the bed of a boarding school in Baie du Tombeau. Disturbed and confused, she doesn’t understand how she ended up in that place. She suspects that she was sexually abused. The police opened an investigation.
It was in the afternoon of Sunday, December 18, around 4:40 p.m., that this teenager gave her statement at the Baie du Tombeau police station. In great detail, she explained to the investigators that she was in a nightclub on Saturday evening, December 17. She had a good time. But she says she does not understand and she cannot remember what happened next. At 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, she woke up in the room of a boarding school. The victim was examined by a medical examiner.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police of the Northern Division was assigned to this investigation. The Child Development Unit of the Ministry of Gender Equality is also interested in this case, especially how a minor could have access to a nightclub and a boarding school.
