A 13-year-old form two student living in Batterie-Cassée, Roche-Bois was beaten up by a 30-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl at her home. It was late afternoon on Thursday 2 February. When her mother tried to intervene, she was pulled by the hair by the 30-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl. Injured, mother and daughter went to the Dr A.G. Jeetoo Hospital, Port-Louis to receive treatment.
It was in the presence of her mother, a 39-year-old waitress, that the teenager gave this statement of aggression at the Roche-Bois police station around midday on Friday 3 February. In her complaint the schoolgirl explained that at around 2.45pm on Thursday 2 February she had an argument with six people in a pre-primary school at Cocoterie Road, Roche-Bois. These people are three women, three aged 20 and one aged 30, and two teenage girls aged 15.
These people later arrived at his home. The 30-year-old woman and one of the two 15-year-old girls started punching and kicking him in the face and chest. Subsequently, the 30-year-old woman and one of two teenage girls began to insult her. When her mother tried to intervene, they grabbed her and pulled her by the hair.
Mother and daughter went to hospital after getting a form 58.
