Sky To Be is again under arrest. He is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking. Indeed, the bloodhounds of the Alpha 1 team of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) landed at the singer’s home in Roche-Bois shortly before noon on Thursday, August 12. 13 grams of heroin were discovered there.
The police, who received information that the singer was involved in drug trafficking, acted after several hours of surveillance.
It should be noted that one gram of heroin is worth 52 doses and 13 grams is the equivalent of 676 doses. For the investigators, this drug is too much for one person and it is not for personal use.
Sky To Be, whose real name is Jean Patrice Kevin Dina, aged 31, was arrested along with his partner, Marie Charlene Stacy Ramborough, aged 29. They were placed in detention for the night and will be brought before the court of Port-Louis on Friday, August 13 on a provisional charge of drug trafficking.
As a reminder, the singer had been arrested on March 2, 2019 for a case of theft with violence. He had assaulted a gas station attendant on the Roche-Bois highway and he had taken a sum of Rs 20,000 from him. He was also arrested in October 2018 after stealing a motorcycle from the Roche-Bois police station.
