Management stresses that it will have no other option for paying employees’ salaries. “This is the last resort and we hope with all our hearts that we do not reach this sad stage,” the statement said. MTCSL maintains that it has submitted its application in due form to the Secretary of the Gold Coast International Racecourse and Entertainment Complex Ltd for the exclusive use of the Champ-de-Mars. “We remain optimistic that the experience and professionalism of over 200 years of racing organization, which MTCSL has enjoyed, will make a difference for the benefit of the racing family. We look forward to notifying you very soon of the granting of the race organizer’s license to MTCSL,” the statement said.
