Vivo Energy Mauritius’ New And Improved Digital Loyalty Programme

Vivo Energy Mauritius, the company that owns the Shell franchise in Mauritius, is revamping its loyalty program with a fully digital launch. Easier navigation, gifts or vouchers that improve daily life, in short an application that meets the needs of Shell customers.

The first operator to offer a loyalty program in the fuel market in Mauritius since 2015, the exclusive operator of the Shell brand is pushing innovation even further by now offering a digital experience tailored to the demands of its customers.

“Much more than a mobile application, the Shell Club loyalty program, which is entirely digital, has been redesigned to improve the customer experience,” confirms Matthias de Larminat, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Mauritius. “Vivo Energy Mauritius has focused on a more individualised and dynamic approach to ensure that our Shell offers add real value to the daily lives of our most loyal customers. We have carefully studied their feedback and revisited the benefits offered. From registration to the Shell Club, through to the tracking of points and the conversion of points into vouchers and exclusive gifts from Shell or its partners, everything has been put in place to offer an application that meets the requirements of our customers. Our vision is to continuously improve the customer experience with a service that continues even beyond our distribution network.

Vivo Energy Mauritius - Shell Club

The application, named “Shell Mauritius”, is available for download on Google Play and App Store. The new user-friendly interface allows members to access loyalty programme information, earn points and redeem them with ease.

The terms of the program are simple. For each purchase of Rs 100 of fuel or lubricants, or in Shell Select shops, the customer accumulates points on a virtual loyalty card.

At the time of payment, customers simply open the application on their smartphone and point the virtual card at the terminal to validate their points. The customer can also follow the accumulation of his points and transfer them to choose his gift.

Indeed, Shell Club reserves for its members a catalogue of diverse and varied gifts, vouchers and discounts at partner stores in the fashion, restaurant and automotive sectors. The offers are updated regularly to provide a wide choice. For example, 500 points give you access to a KFC or McDonald’s voucher or Rs 100 my.t Airtime Recharge, while 505 accumulated points entitle you to a Rs 100 fuel coupon. The Shell Club also offers permanent discounts to be used at several partners.
