It was shortly before one o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, May 10, that police officers from the Bambous police station went to the Bambous road, Pierrefonds, following a request for an accident. A Toyota Hiace van and a Haojue motorcycle were involved. The van was driven by a 48 year old man, living on Palma road, Quatre-Bornes. Several pieces of debris were scattered on this road. Shortly after this accident, a vehicle of the Emergency Response Service (ERS) that was driving in the direction of Beaux Songes like the van stopped. Quatreborn said he was driving along when he heard an impact against his van and his windshield cracked. After the police officers opened the door of his vehicle he saw two people lying in front and bleeding profusely. His motorcycle, according to him, came directly in his direction and it did not have the headlights on.

The people who were lying on the asphalt, one who was bleeding profusely from the nose and mouth was rushed to the hospital in Candos. The second injured person, who was conscious, was taken care of by the personnel of an ambulance of the Emergency Medical Service. Unfortunately, the doctor had to declare his death. The autopsy was performed by Dr. Sudesh Kumar Gungadin, head of the forensic department of the police, who attributed the death to multiple injuries.

Firefighters from Four Corners were dispatched to the scene of the accident to clean up the leaking oil and blood on the asphalt. The van and motorcycle were taken to the Bambous police station for examination. An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact circumstances of this accident. Investigators at the Bamboo police station assume that Bhavesh Seeram was driving the motorcycle, as it belongs to his father.
