A 15-year-old girl has filed an assault charge against her mother, a 45-year-old cook. The incident occurred after her mother caught her with a 17-year-old boy, whom she says is her, on Tuesday evening, February 8, on the Royal Road in Poudre d’Or Hamlet. The teenager, who lives in Roches-Noires, was injured under her left eye and feels pain in her right shoulder. She was admitted to the north hospital.
A sergeant from the Piton police station registered the complaint for the teenager, who is in grade 9 at a college in the north of the country. The schoolgirl explained that on the evening of Tuesday, February 8, around 20 hours, she was in the company of a 17-year-old teenager, who is in grade 11 on the Royal Road of Poudre d’Or Hamlet, when his mother arrived at this place.
Her mother, she said, began to manhandle her near a place of worship in front of her, who lives in that village. She received a blow under her left eye and blows to her right shoulder. The schoolgirl, who complained of pain, was taken to the northern hospital. After receiving treatment in the emergency department of the northern hospital, she was admitted to the ward.
