Pravind Jugnauth has once again criticised the Director of Public Prosecutions without mentioning his name not his post. He was in Phoenix this morning at a groundbreaking ceremony for a road. “I do not see the law being enforced properly. I find it shocking that some decisions taken seem to favour drug trafficking instead of fighting it,” he said. Pravind Jugnauth stressed that he is not only speaking as head of government but also as a lawyer. “I analyse the judgments. I interpret the decisions taken as if we were helping the mafia,” he said. It should be remembered that he is aiming at the Director of Public Prosecutions. On Bruneau Laurette, again without mentioning any name, Pravind Jugnauth said, “there are people who you would never have thought were involved in drug trafficking… But for me, nobody has immunity. Not even politicians!”
