The Prime Minister responded to the allegations of Sherry Singh this morning in Bois Marchand. “He is lying,” he said. Pravind Jugnauth has repeatedly invited the former CEO of Mauritius Telecom to go and denounce him to the police if he “believes every word he has said”.
The Prime Minister was participating in an activity in the context of the International Day of Cooperatives. He spoke to the press afterwards. Pravind Jugnauth asked for a little patience. “Very soon, everyone will find out the real reasons for Sherry Singh’s resignation,” he said.
Pravind Jugnauth insisted that he will go to the end of his mandate and said that the government will make a decision regarding the municipal elections in due course.
Pravind Jugnauth also hinted that he might take legal action against Sherry Singh.
