Must Read

After only four years of marriage, a 28-year-old salesman was forced to leave the marital home on St. Croix and move to his mother’s house in Beau-Bassin in the early evening of Monday, September 26, after becoming a victim of domestic violence.

It is at the police station of Abercrombie, St. Croix that this salesman went in the evening of September 26 to denounce his wife for domestic violence. In his complaint, he explained that he has been married for four years. From this union was born a son, who is 3 years old. This vendor told the police that he had just learned that his wife, aged 27, was having an extramarital affair.

On Monday, September 26, he had a discussion with her about this. As he lives with his in-laws, his wife started throwing all her clothes in the yard. He filmed this scene with his cell phone. His wife became furious and slapped him on the left cheek. He said he told his parents about the situation before leaving the house.

Although he was not injured, he went to the Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital in Port-Louis with a 58-year-old form. He intends to approach the Child Development Unit of the Ministry of Gender Equality to take his son under his care. In the meantime, he has left the child in the care of his grandfather.
