Rs 2 Million Worth Of Loot Stolen In A House At Pailles

Two cars and various items, all estimated at Rs 2 million, were stolen from a 51-year-old photographer living in Sorèze, Pailles. The owner’s fiancée, an immigration officer from a private university, aged 42 and living in Balaclava, reported the case to the police in the absence of the owner who is abroad. It was during a visit to this house on the afternoon of Monday, March 20 that she made the discovery.

It was in the afternoon of Monday, March 20 that she went to the police station in Pailles to report a burglary at the home of her fiancé. Previously, she called the police to come to the scene after witnessing the theft of two cars, including a Suzuki and a Toyota Starlet, which were in the garage.  A team of police officers, led by Sergeant Aullyar, responded to the scene.   The house was in an indescribable mess. Items were scattered throughout the rooms.

The 40-year-old suspects that this theft was committed on different occasions between February 11, when she last visited the house, and Monday, March 20. She estimates that the value of these two cars and the items taken is Rs 2 million.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police of the South Division has been seized of this case. It has begun to view the images of the surveillance cameras of this locality.
