Round Of 16 Matches Of The 2022 World Cup Are Known

Must Read

We now know all the qualifiers for the round of 16 of the World Cup which starts this Saturday.

Friday, December 2 with the last two teams qualified for the round of 16: South Korea, which snatched its qualification by beating Portugal in the last seconds, and Switzerland, which won against Serbia after a crazy game, despite the victory of Cameroon against Brazil. The two teams will face Brazil and Portugal respectively for the rest of the competition.

Incredible outcome in group H of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The South Korea obtained in extremis its qualification for the 8 finals by beating Portugal, already qualified, on the score of 2-1.

Portugal had taken the lead through Horta (5th). Kim equalized in the 27th before Hwang, served in depth by Son, snatched the qualification in the 91st for the Asians. The Koreans were dominated for most of the game, but they kept their heads down and took their chances at the right time to create a win.

Aboubakar, the hero expelled!

After half-time, the Cameroonians continued this momentum by projecting more and more in the auriverde surface. At the limit on the physical plan, Cameroon gave everything and gave itself without any restraint. But with a far too inoffensive face, the African selection had serious difficulties to ignite the last minutes. And yet, in the extra time, Aboubakar took a cross from Ngom with his head to open the score (1-0, 90+2e)! By removing his shirt on his celebration, the Cameroonian captain was sent off for a second yellow card! A useless prestige success because of the victory of Switzerland against Serbia (3-2).
