Nando Bodha takes his pilgrim’s staff and lights the flame of the Rassemblement Mauricien, which starts in the constituency number 9 in Flacq this Friday, January 28.
During his speech, the leader of Rassemblement Mauricien promised that his political party will listen to the citizens. He added that the vast majority of Mauritians are not attached to a political party as before. The Mauritian has a dream, a vague project of society.
He reiterates his wish for a Prime Minister with only two mandates and a country that puts forward meritocracy and integrity. A country without drugs and got rid of the corruption that gangrene the society hence our pilgrimage.
Nando Bodha also maintains that his party is working on a project of a committee that will deal with appointments related to sensitive positions such as Commissioner of Police, Director of ICAC and the Bank of Mauritius. According to him, Mauritians no longer trust institutions.
Adding that education is also at the bottom of the wave.
The Mauritian, according to him, expects a new breath in politics.
For his part, Stephan Beeharry, the President of Rassemblement Mauricien advocates above all competence and meritocracy so that it is good to live in Mauritius.
As for the Secretary General, Raffic Khodabux, the party’s program is a radical change in order to demonstrate that “we are a serious political party.
