Debates are to start on in Gobin’s motion challenging Private Prosecution

The case was called this morning. Ravind Chetty, counsel for Maneesh Gobin, filed an affidavit in response to the objections raised on May 12 by the legal representatives of Vivek Pursun on the motion challenging the private prosecution lodged by the Hindu priest. Debate on the preliminary objections will commence at the next sitting, the date of which will be communicated by circular.
