As for Dev Mungar, he sells bananas to make ends meet. For this 58-year-old father from Bois Rouge, this activity imposed itself during the confinement: “I believe that all means are good to earn an honest living in this period of economic crisis. . These bananas that I have in excess, I sell them to keep my head above water. “

In the shade in a gazebo set up in front of her house, Sorenza Alexandre relies on appetizers to make ends meet: “We had to find a way to provide for my family, especially after the successive confinements. Good at cooking, I sell crispy chicken and other appetizers. In addition to earning money, working from home also allows me to keep an eye on my children ” said this resident of Grand-Baie.
