Police Fail To Produce Video Of Search Of Bruneau Laurette’s Home

Must Read

This morning, Bruneau Laurette and his son Ryan Luca appeared in the District Court of Moka. They are both facing two provisional charges of drug trafficking and weapons possession. During the hearing, Me Shakeel Mohamed was annoyed that the defence still did not have a copy of the video of the search of the Laurettes’ home. He was particularly angry that Superintendent Hayman Dass Ghoora had undertaken to produce this video during the last hearing on 7 November. The lead investigator, MCIT Inspector Sacheedanand Ramjheetun, said that Bruneau Laurette will be confronted with the video of the search when he is questioned by the police. It should be recalled that Bruneau Laurette was taken back into custody after his appearance. The same goes for his son. His next appearance is scheduled for Friday 18 November.
