Minister Teeluck recalled that he was impressed by the children’s talent and highlighted that it is the Ministry’s responsibility to encourage children, as well as their parents, to develop their talent. He observed that his Ministry is also coming with a series of measures so as to help children to further progress artistically.

The painting competition was divided into two categories: the first one for children aged from three to eight years old; and the second for children aged between nine to 15 years old. The total number of entries received in the two categories were 58 and 83 respectively. The paintings of nine children, who won the competition, were thus purchased by the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage, each for an amount of Rs 3000.
