Alramz is of the numerous horses (Al Qaaqa, Al Aasy and Nafoorah) who were owned by late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum and who were bought by the owners for trainer Ricky Maingard. He was very keen in The Duchess Of York Cup and finish 9th out of 10 runners. His jockey Piere Corne Orffer changed tactics and raced him close to the pace on Saturday and this paid off. Alramz followed the leader Horse Guards and he showed more in the last 200m to score an easy win.
