Jean-Christophe Frappier is an autodidact. Amateur of photography and graphic design, this 19 years old young man lives today from his art. Meet him.
One eye in the viewfinder and one hand on a mouse. This is the daily life of this young resident of La Tour Koenig. Passionate about images and graphic design, he quickly abandoned the academic stream to dive into art: “School was not my cup of tea. My thing was graphic design. I spent most of my time on my computer playing with images. It was this passion that led me to photography.
Obtaining a camera from his father in 2020, the young man quickly started hunting for images and soon got noticed: “It was by posting my photos on Instagram that I started to be offered contracts to shoot photos for branded clothing. I think my creativity worked in my favor.”
Supported by photographer Mathieu Rémy, Jean-Christophe now wants to help other young people make a name for themselves in the industry: “Since I wasn’t encouraged much when I started, I now want to give other young people a chance whether it’s for modeling or photography. It’s important to return the favor.”
