Walls Of Dubrovnik tries his luck in against better horses. Unbeaten since his debut, he will face a tough opposition with four times winner Var’s Elusion, King Of Tara, who won his last three races, and the best rated horse of the race, Huyssteen.
Walls Of Dubrovnik won his three first races in Mauritius easily. He was never in doubt by winning the first two from pillar to post, and he came from the back on his last race. His connections decided to take the opportunity of racing him in two classes above. He was lucky to get draw number three at the gates and his lightweight will be a big advantage. He will be the horse to beat, but he will run against better horses.
Var’s Elusion is the other unbeaten horse of the race. He won the three legs of the 3 years old Championship easily. He had to dig deep last time to win against Duke’s Domain. He is a strong front runner who will have to work at the start as he will break from gate number 7. He will be hard to beat if he hits the front easily and if he is allowed to set his own pace.
King Of Tara will have a good chance. He showed great fighting spirit to win three times this season. He might have the dream run behind the leaders as he will start from the gate number 1.
Huyssteen and Prince Of Persia will be two decent outsiders in this race. The Ramapatee Gujadhur’s trained horse; Prince Of Persia finished strongly running second to Stream Ahead last time. He has a good draw and he is a good finisher who will be suited if there is a fast pace. Huyssteen raced against better horses and he did not finished far. He is a consistent sort who can turn the tables.
