Health Scare: A Liner Stranded Off The Coast Of Port-Louis

Authorities in Mauritius believe there is a cholera outbreak aboard a Norwegian Dawn paquebot. Actually, the cruise ship is located near the mouth of Port-Louis. The paquebot was supposed to stop in Reunion o Friday. But according to the Prefecture of Reunion, the cruise ship has several sick people on board, and has decided to cancel its stopover foling the announcement of tests to be carried out on passengers.

On Sunday morning, the Mauritian health authorities are on board to conduct blood tests on fifty passengers. From the Ministry of Health’s perspective, one must wait at least 48 hours to receive the results.
