Grays, with New Grove Distillery, has consolidated its position as an exporter of high-quality Mauritian products. New Grove, one of its iconic rum brands, announces its ascent in France, renewing its commitment to spirits lovers.
Distributor Premium Craft Spirit now manages New Grove Distillery’s presence in the French market. Premium Craft Spirit has over 150 years’ experience in France, and values people and terroir, values that are in line with those of New Grove Distillery.
One piece of good news doesn’t come alone. The New Grove rum brand has distinguished itself with two recent gold medals. Firstly, in August, New Grove 10 year old rum was awarded a gold medal at the Les Spiritives 2023 competition. In addition, New Grove Bourbon cask topped the Spirit Selection podium at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, followed by Lazy Dodo in silver. These medals reinforce the international reputation of our Mauritian rums.
For Cédric Brement – the company’s strategic advisor – these awards demonstrate the quality of Mauritian rum: “The spirits industry represents the history and know-how of the island. It’s a sector that really allows us to represent Mauritius
It’s a sector that really allows us to represent Mauritius on the international stage, and to highlight its values such as conviviality and hospitality. New Grove Distillery explains its long history through the quality of all its products, and is for me the most emblematic brand in Mauritius.
