The Central Electricity Board has issued a statement regarding the supply of electricity during the cyclone. The CEB intends to maintain maximum supply during the cyclone as long as weather and network conditions permit.
After the passage of a cyclone, the CEB will try to repair the damaged lines according to a pre-established order of priority. The public is strongly advised not to touch broken and fallen lines. It is also reminded that connections between neighbors are strictly forbidden.
