The lifeless body of a 23-year-old, called Mikael Parson, was found in wasteland at Morcellement Highlands Rose on Saturday (June 26th). He is an inhabitant of Saint-Pierre. The latter had been living for a few days with one of his relatives in Phoenix.
The discovery was made by passers-by. Phoenix Police and CID as well as Scene of Crime Office were there to investigate.
An autopsy was undertaken to determine the exact circumstances of the death of this young man. According to sources close to the police, the autopsy performed by forensic doctor Dr Sudesh Kumar Gungadin revealed that he died of pulmonary edema. Phoenix Police have opened an investigation.
This news was like a shock wave for his family and friends. Many family members and close friends wrote messages of sympathy on the deceased’s Facebook page.
His funeral is scheduled for Sunday, June 27, when he would celebrate his 23 years.
