Must Read

Twenty-four police officers normally assigned to Abercrombie Police Station have been placed in quarantine after two of their police colleges tested positive for Covid-19. One of the positive police officers was in contact with a State Trading Corporation (STC) employee who tested positive.

As we know, the twenty-four were assigned to Vallée-Pitot when the region was in the red zone. The laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Welfare carried out 2,887 PCR tests yesterday, Friday June 14, 2021. The latest results were obtained late in the evening.

  • 1 case was detected on Day 9 in quarantine (patient negative on admission)
  • 4 cases were detected following the ongoing Contact Tracing exercises. These patients were already in the quarantine center on Day 0.

1,074 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and as of yesterday afternoon, 675 of them considered to be cured have been able to return home.

The country currently has 382 active COVID-19 and as of this morning, only 54 of them were admitted to New ENT Hospital due to pre-existing comorbidities or mild symptoms requiring medical monitoring.
