A 28-year-old Port Louis man, working as a caregiver in a nursing home in Quatre-Bornes, was attacked by a dog early Tuesday evening, September 27. This man was walking along Caudan Street, Port-Louis when a dog jumped on him. Under the weight of the animal, he was thrown to the ground and fractured his left arm.
This resident of the Capital went to the police station of Casernes Centrales in the evening of Tuesday, September 27, to report a case of letting the animal go astray. In his complaint, he explained that he was returning home at about 6:30 p.m. after his work hours when this incident occurred. A dog jumped on him while he was walking along Caudan Street, Port Louis and he was thrown to the ground, injuring his left arm. At the same time, the dog’s owner arrived and ordered his dog to let go.
Injured, he went to the Dr. A.G. Jeetoo Hospital, Port-Louis to be treated with a form 58. After undergoing an X-ray examination, a fracture was detected in his left arm. The man told the police that he will be able to identify this animal and its master.
