Yesterday, activist and One Moris member Bruneau Laurette held a press conference. At the start of the conference, he spoke of his arrest, and that of his son. He thanked the lawmen who had supported him since the beginning of the case. He spoke at length about his incarceration at Melrose. He then made several allegations about members of the police force. After a year, there are still after-effects of his arrest, but Bruneau Laurette maintains that he will continue his fight to the end.
Returning to the highlights of the affidavit he swore on February 23 while in prison, the activist is astonished that “to date, the authorities have still not deigned to approach him to question him about his revelations”. As far as he is concerned, everything he said in his affidavit has proved to be true.
